O.O
Basically, Kuyt scored a hattrick, Maradona's follower Luiz Suarez was involved in all 3 goals, and Hernandez did get a consolation for United, but they still lost. 3-1. Sadly, this wasn't the whole story.
Liverpool fullback Jaimie Carragher blatantly fouled and injured Nani. A free-for-all on the pitch ensued, and Nani even had the guts to show his injury to referee Phil Dowd, while Suarez was busy pulling Rafael's hair in the background. Somehow, Dowd did not send anybody off, but gave yellows to Carragher, Skrtel, Rafael and van der Sar. Is it just me or are all Premier League referees blind?
Anyways, for the 1st half of the 2nd half, United were dominant but were falling into their irritating habit of missing chances. Both Giggs and Berbatov should have scored twice, and who knows? If they had put their chances away United could've won 4-2 instead of losing 1-3. But then van der Sar had to be a noob and spill a random free kick and guess what? Kuyt was on hand to score numero troiso. Gerrard then hit both of the posts, Kuyt could've got his fourth with a screaming 25-yard volley but Hernandez, to some relief, headed the ball for United's consolation.
Right now Manchester United are 3 points ahead of Arsenal, who have a game in hand, and a better goal difference. If Arsenal beat West Brom by 3+ goals on the 12th, Arsenal will be 1st place =S.
