Zapatera are Idiots: Survivor Episode 7: "It Don't Take a Smart One"

Ok why did Zapatera boot Sarita? She's much less likely to flip than David, and with the merge in the next episode, physical prowess is actually a downside since you could then go on an immunity rampage like Fabio last season or Brett in Samoa or JT in Tocantins, thus lowering the chances of you winning immunity and being safe. Sarita will almost certainly lose to Matt on Redemption Island, and Matt will rejoin the game,...



basically ensuring the immunities to be a contest between him, the Zap men and perhaps Rob and Andrea. Zapatera are obviously doomed, so I suspect they'll be trashed by Matt at the immunities. If David was sent to Redemption Island, one major challenge threat would be eliminated and the Zaps would possibly be tied 6-6 since Phillip is flipping first chance he gets, and they perhaps could even woo Andrea and Matt over for an 8-4 advantage. Now, the Zaps are down 7-5 since David is flipping to Rob's alliance (thus fulfilling Stephanie's prophecy) and Phillip and Andrea will not flip since they have the numbers. Even if they do, it would only tip the scales 7-5 in Zap's favor, and since they'll be targeting Rob, Rob will play his idol and blindside Ralph, who's too dumb to play his idol. If the Zaps booted David instead of Sarita, they will be leading 8-4 and will probably split the votes between Rob and Andrea or something, ensuring that the Zaps will get into the top 5. So basically they screwed their own game by booting Sarita over David....Yeah.
Well all of the Zaps except David are eliminated from my winners' list. Ashley will not win a jury vote. Neither will Phillip. Natalie is too lazy and is portrayed too negatively, though she does give me the under-the-radar winner shudders. Rob is way too over-the-top and is a distraction like Russell in Samoa and Heroes vs. Villains. Grant might win a la Fabio if he goes on an immunity run and is likable enough, but he's too invisible up to this point. That leaves Andrea, Matt and David. Matt is also more like a Redemption Island champion than a Survivor champion (he doesn't talk about the future until this episode) and David is hated by the Zap jury. Andrea will probably win, which is sad since I wanted Rob to win for once. =(
